Yaran Drawbridge, of Holden, is also accused of strangling his girlfriend until she escaped through a bathroom window, the prosecutor's office said in a news release

Johnston (Rhode Island) police were called to a home on Juniper Lane on May 4, 2023, after Drawbridge's girlfriend called 911 to report he had attacked her and put her in a chokehold at their home on Juniper Lane, authorities said.

She told police she thought he was still inside the home with a stockpile of weapons.

When officers went to the house, they found "various types of large capacity magazines and other gun paraphernalia in the basement of the home," police said. Though, they didn't find Drawbridge.

They returned the next day with a search warrant and found three rifles with shortened barrels and 62 large-capacity magazines, including 30-round .223 caliber, 30-round 7.62mm, and 31-round 9mm magazines, officials said.

He will be arraigned on Feb. 7.
